Ladies and Gentlemen:
This month’s meeting will be held at Harrigan’s Pub, 703 Baltimore Blvd. and Rte. 71, in Sea Girt Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.. Owners, Bill and Kasey Passaic, have reserved tables for our meeting.
Mayor Mark Clemmensen will be at this meeting and has requested an opportunity to address some questions that were raised at the last Borough council meeting by one of our members.
The children’s Sand Castle Contest has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 19th at 9:00 a.m. at the Chicago Beach in Sea Girt. Please mark your calendars and get the word out to family and friends for their children, ages 4 through 12.
Michael D’Altrui (of Conover Beyer Associates) is repeating as Race Director for this year’s Sea Girt 5K to be run on Sunday, August 1st. Our Chamber is donating $250 to cover the cost of the inflatable Obstacle Course children’s activity. I will be e-mailing to each of you shortly the registration form and information as to Sponsorships that are available for the race. Please give consideration to your businesses assisting with a sponsorship. If any member (and friends) would be interested in contributing to the manpower necessary to bring off such a large event, please get in touch with Michael at (732) 259-3655. I’m volunteering and I hope you will join me.
